The sump will bolt on, rb26 blocks have bolt holes for both types of sumps, the problem is you wont be able to install the rb26oil pickup as its in a different spot, this means modifying the rb20 sump to go around it slightly..

Most guys just get the rb26 sumps modified to suit the rwd conversion..

If u are thinking of getting some decent power from the motor u would be best to keep the stock rb26 sump and get the diff cut off and weld up the hole. The stock rb26 sump helps with stopping the block from twisting and cracking afaik compared to the thin rb20/25 steel sumps.
