R32 Gts-T Diff

hey im just wondering if anyone has reshimmed their diff 2 remove backlash, and is it a pretty sraight foward job or one for a driveline specialist?

If you're reshimming to remove backlash, it's a pro job.

If you're reshimming to refresh your LSD, then you can do it yourself.

I put my old 32gtst diff in the Stagea, I did the LSD shimming myself then got my diff guy to set the centre up in its' new housing.

oh righto yeah it has a bit of backlash n whining like a bitch on heat

sounds like the front bearing is f*kd.

had this happen to my old ford and also was pissing oil out front.

tis a pro job with new seals bearings etc.

or a second hand diff for 200 or so and shimm it while your there for added fun.
