All,

Iv bought the V Spec2, R34 Pedal set and I am having trouble installing the clutch and brake pedals. Given the originals are rubber they are easily "rolled" onto the pedal assembly however given the new pedals are aluminium they are not as easy to install. Any Tips?

Secondly,

Is anyone aware of the Part No. required for the bushes required to fit V Spec 2 R34 Pedals onto V Spec Model?

Thanks :)

I installed mine a week or 2 ago, it was absolutely pain in the ass to install the brake and clutch pedals.

It took me about an hour to get them both fitted.... lol

At the end, I just used a heat gun to heat up the rubber on the back, to make it a bit softer, then quickly try and stretch it around the pedals. Might take a few goes but it will work.

As for the bushes, I have a bush from the accelerator pedal that I don't need for my GTT.

Ha Ha! Thought I might of been doing something wrong! Lost skin on my finger tips trying to get these on! I'll try the heat gun!

Mate if thats the only part required can you please PM me a price incl postage to 4122.

Ta Charles

Haha yeah, its a f***ing pain!

But what I also realise is that you can actually bend the pedals if you aren't careful, the aluminium is bendable.

I also sent you a PM :)

Is the Accelerator pedal hard to install? it doesn't look hard just from looking at the pedal, but looks can be deceiving, what would i need to take off in order to install the accelerator pedal?

Thanks :)

^ If you have a GTT, you need to trim off some of the pedal (after you remove the old plastic cover of course). I took about 10mm off the top left edge and files it down, painted it and then the GTR pedal cover went on nicely. There must be a difference between BNR and ER 34 accell pedal's.

hmmm I cant remember specifically installing the footrest but I do know that the accellerator was the hardest part for me, thats in a r33gtst...

I would of thought 34gtr would be easy considering its made for that car...

It's a poofter of a job doing the clutch and brake pedals...

I sweated and huffed and puffed and cursed and cried a little inside before mine were on.

My fingers felt like I'd smacked them with a hammer for 5 minutes straight after it.

A good looking simple upgrade though!
