23/04 early morning around 5 am car gone police report in MILE END car had accident and run

car fresh import on road less than 1 month

a kind mate call tonight spotted car on ridlayton stop there for 10mins guy with white hat and female passenger

few hours later police call located car end of the story let insurance company take of it....

its getting to a point where... the only way you'll find the car where you left it is by physically removing an engine/electrical part every time

I have actually done that before... disconnected the starter to make sure no one stole the car.

Be a shame if we actually had to resort to this. I'm already looking at a new alarm

I wouldn't answer WHAT KIND OF ALARM questions, in public. but only if it had one and was it armed.

alarms are deterents, not a final mechinism to stop a thieve who wants your car, if they want it, they will get it no matter what. !!!!!! even GPS can be thwarted if they know its inside the car.

the key is mutiple layers of security and a 100% of it in use every single time you stop your car, even in your garage. lots of common sense where you drive and park it

and CAR INSURANCE !!!!!

But I only asked because the original OP had his car found burnt out ( and no ones gonna steal it again ) and just curious as to what type. So i wont make the same mistake as i just got my stagea M35 not less then a month.
