Use the computer to access the net ffs..

It's like e buying a phone and complaining that it doesnt microwave my food..

That's my point. Pointless stripped down Internet browsing was just an example to demonstrate why a user is more likely to encounter errors on the PS3 or Xbox platform than the Wii. There are less variables to muck around with because you can do SFA on the Wii.

But you know what? If that phone was advertised as having that function, I'd damn well expect it to do that. And seriously, best microwave ever? No more getting up from e couch to heat up food you were too lazy to eat quickly.

Gotta hand it to Nintendo.

After persisting for years with cartridges longer than anyone else.

They then take a massive gamble with the Wii and have a look - IMO it's one of the best consoles of the last 8-10 years.

Nothing, and i mean nothing, will been the N64 - king of the console behind the SNES or the PS1

But the Wii really has never had a problem. You can mod them cheaply and easily, there are some AWESOME aftermarket add-ons... Really good thinking by that mob.

Word. Long live Goldeneye and Perfect Dark.

And Zelda: ocarina if time.

Ye brilliant game.

Golden Eye was simply the best game EVER for its time. Even now you play stuff like COD etc on PC and the AI isn't that much better, nor is the story line anywhere near as awesome (yes i know its based on a movie).

The "cheat" challenges were also ridiculously fken hard to the point of being genuinely almost impossible!!!

I remember the Silo level achievement clearly (lvl 2 or 3).

It took us (myself & my bro) i think 2 months of solid attempts for hours to achieve the 2min 15sec completion cheat, it was the most difficult of all of them so much that even half a second delay at any point and you'd miss it.

It was childhood euphoria at its best :D

Oh man that brings back memories! I can't believe you got it!

That was the hardest thing to get ever in a game. You literally had to run through the whole level perfectly to get it.

That game had the most replay value out of any game I have owned. Literally played it for about 2-3 years on a weekly basis.

Ye you had to be 100% perfect, and even then depending on the spawn of enemies you weren't a certainty to win it lol.

There was a LOT of controller rage over that achievement for many months i can assure you :D

The celebration when I got it was fking hilarious. The parents didnt know what the fk had gone on as there was 4-5 of us at the time screaming and cheering LOL

Was certainly the most played console game for me ever! Mario Kart was a close 2nd :teehee:

    • You guys need to live a little! Nothing keeps the blood flowing like lying under something that could collapse on you at any time! The vast majority of the weight of my car is out of it. There's zero attached outside of the interior of the car. It's pretty much full interior but once I take the front seats out it's just the dash and some of the boot contents remaining. I would guess that as it sits it would be already well under a tonne, even less without the seats.

    • The easiest way would to be ignore the oscilloscope, grab a multimeter, and make sure all the main connections are right. An oscilloscope will give 99.9% of even technicians so much grief, as they have no idea what things should even look like on an oscilloscope. Which is also even more likely for someone who's first ever major work on a car is this If the battery volts are dropping down so low, the LDV will reboot the ECU, when it does so, it will drop out the start circuit. If this is occuring, the battery voltage should also come back up. Give it a few tests, even simple ones like when you're attempting to crank it, measure voltage from the engine block, to the negative terminal. You might find you've got really bad connections somewhere. My guess is the "new" motor has something like a shit starter motor, at which point, you can swap the starter motor from the old motor, to the new motor. Before I did any of the above though, I'd 100% confirm the battery in the vehicle. Most jumper packs are absolutely useless, especially if a battery has a bad cell for example. Also the new modern "jump packs" if you don't know what you're doing with them, you won't even get them into high current stage. So go back to basics, check the battery, especially with a known good one as a replacement test. Check ALL the wiring, this includes where they're bolted onto the battery, and bolted onto the starter motor. Check all the earth straps are on. Measure your resistances across your earth straps. A good check here is to measure voltage across the earth straps while you're trying to crank it. If you're seeing voltage, you've got high resistance joints! Oh, and once you've done the above, check the battery over again.
