From personal experience, you should get about 220 - 240 rwhp depending on your exhaust and pod - so roughly 165 - 180rwkw. I got 239.8HP (i lost the damn graph or i'd post it) with stock s2 with pod, full zorst, 10 psi and an SAFCII tune-up. That was done in shootout mode @ reputable dyno here in WA (SST).

Same(ish) - sst dyno i got 254rwhp.

stock turbo and cooler, K&N filter in std box, otherwise same as seriesIIGTST

now in melbourne i got 160rwkw at complete auto with a sick fuel pump, apparently it was leanign out lots at the top end. so yeah 160-180kw sounds fair

LOL

Seeing a friends RB20 SIl80, stock turbo, full 3" exhaust, fmic, Blitz EBC & CAI makes 160kw @ 12.5psi you seem to be tad pessimistic.

Depends on the dyno I guess

I've been to 5 dyno days and watched over 130+ cars (mainly R33's). I'm quite confident in my answer.

Although as you said... it mainly depends on the dyno :)

I agree with benm. With similar mods i would have been somewhere near 165 but i had problems with fuel and boost cut.

I went back with a high flowed turbo and got 190ish (inc. powerfc, ebc, fuel system).

went back a third time with a HKS2530 turbo and got over 200 with hardly any boost.

i got air filter, turbo back zorst, boost 10psi, bov and im on 172rwkw

ben...

I got the same mods (except 12psi not 10psi and also a fmic) still standard turbo and ECU and on 3 different dyno's I got

- 203rwkw

- 189rwkw

- 180rwkw

go figure....

with no safc or anftermarket comp and no fmic u will be getting around 160 on a friendly dyno.

Just remember if u pay a shop to do some work for you and then see how much power it has gained they will almost always fudge a few more kw into your run just so it looks like the $$ you hand over was worth it.

how can it be leaning out at top end with 910 pump and stock ecu?? Most run mega rich in the top end like 9.5:1 a/f ratio with stock ecu

hey guys, just wondering... i have a series 2 R33 GTS-T. mods are bov, pod, turbo back exhaust and 11psi its running. just wondering what sort of power i should be getting approximately on the dyno??

cheers

I got '98 S2 GTS25t with K&N panel in stock airbox, turbo-back HKS Super Drager, 11PSI. so I have had quite a bit of interest in this thread. I will be getting along to a dyno-day B4 2 long and will then have the answers.

The car is just SOOOO much better than stock like this. Much more fun to drive.

p.s. being a 1998 model, there is a slight chance that my engine is actually a NEO6 internally. I have not been able to find out for sure but I guess if it goes on the dyno and makes about 15rwkw more than expected I will have an answer.

Fingers crossed

On the average Dyno Dynamics dyno I'd expect to see around 155-165rwkw with those mod's. Much more than that and I'd be very happy, or slightly suspect of the dyno. Atm you have no control over your factory ECU, so it'll be the deciding factor.

    • Hi all,   I have been a member here for years and am back to owning an R35.  It's my car and thought members of the community might enjoy sharing my journey.  I am definitely here to join the conversation.  If sharing this content isn't appropriate or it belongs somewhere else, I am happy to have it deleted or moved...
    • Data looks rock solid? I'm assuming you jabbed the throttle twice OR once? the TPS voltage moves up and down twice, however you've mentioned you did it once.
    • Having not watched the videos, I'm unsure, but this may be better suited to the importing thread?
    • Update on this situation: (Forgot to put in my previous post that I bought another brand new pressure gauge and fuel shows the same 50psi) I've deleted all the aftermarket immobilizers and turbo timer shyt and placed all factory wiring back to normal. The problem is still the same and nothing changed, but atleast it's a bit more tidier under the steering wheel. I've also siphoned out all the old fuel and then poured new batch of BP98 fuel (about 15L) into the tank. Nothing changed. Still the same idle. I also changed out the MAP vac line with a new one and, still the same.  So 2 days ago, I thought fk it. I'll just change out the fuel rail and injectors with another set that I know worked well in my brother's R34 a while back. That other fuel rail has the exact same Xspurt 640cc as what I have right now. So I changed it out to that other fuel rail and injectors (new O-rings) and injector harness. Put everything back together, started the engine, 464906286_1624569924763105_5179888796065901094_n.mp4   and yeah... still the same 50psi and idle problem. 🫠 I can also hear each of injector's solenoids running when I put a screw driver to it and have the other end to my ear. I might get a noid light just to confirm pulsasion but yeah, very strange that both fuel rails and injectors put out 50psi.  31-10-2024.csv I've attached it here. I started recording, then started the engine and let it idle with no throttle, then at the end I applied a little throttle and then stopped recording.    So, now idk. I'm going to see if swapping out the brand new R35 coils to my old splits fires will change anything. 🤷‍♂️
    • Hey mate, nice work on the car. Just a quick note, people generally don't like it when you use the forums to dump and run to advertise your YouTube content. If you're gonna stick around and join in the conversation then great, but if not this might not be the best place for you.
