Importing Vauxhall Insignia Vxr From Uk

I'm moving to the UK in July for work for around 2 years. Can I bring back a VXR insignia to AUS as a personal import? What sort of things / fees would I need to look out for?

My suggestion - if you're doing it for potential profit, don't bother. I've already listed the Insignia on SEVS, and they will be released here as an Opel by the time you bring one back...if you just want it for your own enjoyment, then go for it, they're awesome cars.

there's one here in brissy. from a distance it looks like a VR. walk up to it and its totally different. TT L6 in there it does move quite nicely.

They command a good price! 15,000 pounds for a nice Carlton or around 20-22k for an insignia.

there are so many other cars you can bring back for that price.......cheap fezzas, lotus carlton, cav gsi (that would cost about 2 grand but still awesome) any cossie, escort, saph, sierra. any jap import that youll buy for 1 tenth of the price off here.... although no doubt there will be some bullshit with them exporting an import lol

I actually saw an Insignia on the road yesterday, had Opel badging instead of Vauxhall.

OPC (Opel) was introduced here recently. I.e. Opel Insignia OPC = Vaxhaull Insignia VXR.
Would cost a heap load more here of course.
