Hi everyone, I am currently testing out a new business idea me and a mate are

going to maybe implement.

Basically you send us a picture of your car, as is. You then tell us what you are

planning on getting, or what you would like to know looks better on your car.

An example: say you are wanting to buy new wheels for your car, you send us the picture of you car and tell us what you want. As professionals will digitially

edit your car, and show you how your car will look with Eg: ROH DriftR wheels or

say ROH Fury wheels. Basically what ever you ask for we can do.

We do commercial products, so if you are interested in buying say a GTR

bodykit or 400R kit for your skyline, we can show you how both will look on your

current car.

We can do the following for your car, from the image you send us:

Body kits

Colour changes

Carbon fibre bonnets

Wheels

Tinted windows

Lowering/Suspension

Mesh grills

Side Vents

Two tone paint work

Car graphics

Clear Lights

Headlight transplants

Front eyelids

We would like to provide 2 free tests of this service so if a picture of two of

your cars could be provideded, we would like you to request a few from the above options that you would be interested in seeing how they look.

If we are successful and do a good job, and find we have more numbers in wanting this done for their car, we will charge a very small fee so we can continue to do this.

Please express your interest in our newly found business. Thanks :)

P.S: I have included a picture of a ford mustang which was changed in colour,

given new wheels, an added wing, a bodykit and extra vents. This is only a taste

of what we can do and would like to hear from you. (View my gallery if link does not work)

hmmm.. problem is anybody can photochop these days. Think it would be hard to actually develop a money making business out of it.

I remember showing my mates about 5 years ago how you could "pretend" stick wheels on a car in like Photoshop 3 to see what it looked like. They were so impressed :) But now its kind of "anybody can do it".

The best would have been developing a system by which you could sell to the mag wheel shops, or paintshops how the car would look. But I think they already have that now.

nice work on the mustang...

there's a lot of people who come into car chopping forums (automotiveforums.com / graphic manip is where i see it happen) and ask 'can you put these rims on my car so i can see if i should buy them' etc. and there's always someone who'll do it... so be aware of this factor.

Thanks for the feedback we will take it all into consideration. With reference to anyone photochopping, we offer a high quality reliable service, with all the modifying options available. If this gains enough interest we will provide this at a low affordable price, small on price, but big on gaining important information for your precious car :)

This also may develop to become a system whereby a bodykit/wheel company etc outsources us to show customers how their products will appear on the customers car.

Predator, you are correct. I have seen from memory two wheel shops/manufacturers using such a concept, (Speedy wheels?) only problem is the wheel range was limited to speedy only.

Backup: Im undecided on future mods. Can your professionals show me what my car would look like in coat of bright metallic pink with some 24 inch fake ame wheels? That would be sick eh?

Yes we can :) lol

If anyone would really like anything done, this is free at the moment so just attach a picture here and specify what you would like, and we will do it for you as a demonstration

List of things to do:

Vertex bodykit

Two Tone Purple/Gold Limited edition R34 Skyline colour

Advan Gold Rims

Lower car to 10cm above ground

Dual projector headlight assembly.

Diffractorless headlight cover

Body coloured indicators,

indicator within headlight

Transplant foglights into new bodykit.

I'm a graphic designer myself, and would be interested in what you produce.

Heres one for you:

Start with any of the photos of car #26 at http://www.hgeconsulting.com.au/gtr/shakedown.htm

It needs to be bright yellow, black bonnet, number 32, Handley on the window, with Speedy Holotype r rims.

If the job looks great we would be interested in the service, we need quality pics of cars for proposals to sponsors, often before the car actually looks the way it will for the race :)

Also, you left out 1 important bit of information....what are you looking at charging?

funky, you forgot:

add turbo

:)

Backup, if you take any pic of PranK's and chop Spindecks on he'll be your best friend for ever :uh-huh:

i think this is were rrrage told me to post my thread....

I was wondering if anyone would like to change the colour of the car to black, lower it, add blue neons and replace the wheels with the new given ones for me n post it back... oh n remove the shadow under the car and have it all on a white back ground

please go to my thread 'Help With Photoshop' to get the pictures u need

Check my photos in my sig - grab one that you think looks ok and remove the background - put it on a white background or whatever colour background you think will look good?

Or/And - pick a photo from my gallery from my sig and put wheel spacers on it (so wheels sit flush with guards)

very good idea - but as mentioned there are people who do this for fun/free .... i think your best bet is to get some business/company clients, you can charge thema bit more than personal and they will be more willing to pay than Joe Blow

Anything from http://members.optushome.com.au/turbo202 :( I have higher-res pics if it helps.

The only thing I'm thinking of doing is putting on a GTR rear wing and getting a paint job in the same colour - I'm sure this would be a *huge* challenge for you guys, lol - so feel free to do whatever you like to showcase your talents.

    • Also had a look at the Nissan JP website looks like the 400r has a slightly shorter ratio than than the regular V37 3.133 VS 2.937 which from a guy who has driven both 3.69 vs 4.11 ratios in the S15 is bugger all. Seems that the AUTO Z runs the same ratio as the 400R but can't find any info as to if its an open or LSD? More often than not the auto LSD is open
    • Do not replace the power steering lines with this stuff. If it's anything like the Chase Bays stuff it will leak and be worse than stock. The reason why the reservoir is on the LH/passenger side of the car is because that's just where the reservoir was most convenient to fit. Don't overthink this stuff. The intake/cold side of the engine is pretty busy on these cars. And again, the hardpipe is designed to be a janky power steering cooler. In theory you can replace it with a real power steering cooler but that's really only for track use where boiling the fluid is a distinct possibility. Start with the low pressure lines feeding the pump from the reservoir. Make sure there isn't a bunch of junk in the reservoir filter. Be careful to not get ATF all over the engine bay. I hate dealing with ATF spills, you can clean it up and the slightest crevice will still release more oil that can still drip over time. You also want to inspect for leaks before you make a mess and can't tell what happened. Most likely you have a leak somewhere that is allowing fluid out and air in. Failing that it's allowing air in but not fluid out. Only place I can really see that happening is on the low pressure side because the pump will pull a slight vacuum to draw fluid in. Everything after the pump is high pressure or lower pressure, approaching atmospheric by the time it returns to the reservoir.
    • I did a skidpan night at SMSP this week, it was much cheaper than $350. But yeah, you need to slap an LSD in that thing.  I put an OS Giken in the 370Z and it's f**king MARVELOUS even compared to Nissan's viscous LSD. So you're saying it's free now that it's a housing estate? 😂
    • Nah, the car seems to run exactly as it did prior, in saying this it does "seem" to be better down low, like more eager to rev, but that may be 100% placebo effect from intake noise But, I'm not worried about it at all, in the end it is a fairly low compression NA engine that has a well shrouded intake,  if it is getting hotter IAT I cannot notice anything negative performance wise from the seat of my pants thrashing it about on the street or sitting in traffic, so meh, car now now makes induction noise so I'm happy
    • Do you have an IAT sensor? It's worth checking it to see. You may be suprised how little gap you actually need to flood your engine with hot air. (I tape up my airbox for a reason) :p
