Recessed Firewall And Custom Trans Tunnel

G'day, I have a ke20 corolla which I want to put an rb30et, gt35, 3spd jatco etc into.

Wondering how much a recessed firewall (not the whole thing, just around the engine) and custom trans tunnel to suit would set me back to be fabricated.

I will be able to do the cutting out etc, just need the sheetmetal work done.

I do alot of this sort of thing.

It's alot cheaper and less of a head ache if you give it to someone with an uncut fire wall and the running gear you want to fit.

If you want to fit it and cut the firewall out yourself 8/10 you will end up with a half arsed fire wall section that doesn't look right.

I'm doing an r32 gtst at the moment with a fire wall

I have changed plans to a ca18det so I dont need the firewall but will still be needing a trans tunnel to fit the jatco, could you give me a quote?

can u get recessed firewall engineered to be road legal? sounds like a silly question to me but you never no.

yeah, recessed firewall is no real biggy for engineering, mates ae86 was recessed 120mm and the whole tunnel replaced to behind the shifter.
