Hey guys just bought a skyline and my double din cd player has Japanese frequency range of 70-90, Aka pointless, wondering if you can get a plug in or chip or something to fix this.

Thought I'd ask professionals before asking 16 year olds at frankies :P

You can get a expander that your aerial plugs into, then into the back of your cd player. Mine cost around the $20 mark and worked perfectly but annoyed me not knowing what station i was on till they said the station name. I got it from a local car audio place.

any audio shop can put in an fm booster or you can put it in yourself if you know how,

I found with my car's factory tuner you just add 20 to the frequency to get aussie channels eg. 104.9 will be 84.9 on the radio, to get 96.9 you put 76.9 on your radio etc etc

try it on yours & see if it works
