Until last week I've always driven in D and very occasioanlly in DS. And when in DS I would

let the computer change gears as doing it with the paddles would result in a delay that would sort of throw the car forward.

So for 1 week I have had it in DS all the time and have been manually shifting. I can say now that the shifts are very quick.

The delay and the resultant forward lunge has seriously gone. This was my biggest whinge about the car, but Im loving it now.

Another observation is that the v36 can hold it with an audi S5. Dont know how, but it can.

Mate I know what you mean, I've kept up with a Merc CL63 before and those things are serious V8's. Sure gave that guy a shock, lol :)

I usually drive in just D, if I switch into DS it's always me changing gears for it otherwise I find the car will hold out a gear and rev ridiculously if you push it. Those gear changes can be rough in DS, but in D mode it's always very smooth.

But mine is a 5-speed not a 7-speed, wonder if there is any real big differences between both?
