question. Probably showing my noobness at cars now but what are the benefits of having the front set to medium to high over soft?? i mean it causes under steer the tighter you go, so why would you want it.

It is all a balancing act.. It is about finding the right setting to suit all the other variables on your car to achieve the best balance to your driving style.

Tyres, suspension and throttle input all have an influence on how your car will feel and a set up you like, if I hoped in to drive, I may not.

The stiffer front is all about finding a balance point for the car.

Hi,

can you contact us direct here Email me as we can reply faster.

It is true stiffening the front will make more understeer and may not turn in as well but should not affect steering return or get stuck anywhere.

We have not in any past sales heard anything like this but if you contact us direct we will endevour to solve any issues you are experiences.

Hi Guys thanks for the replies

Did you upgrade link ends?

i didnt upgrade the link ends as of yet, could this be the reason for getting stuck do tou think.

i will change the settings on the front to a softer setting sometime this weekend and see how that goes, if that doesnt work ill send you an email and see if we can work something out.

thanks,

Ben

hey guys,

so today i switched the front to the softer setting, i noticed that one of the stopper rubbers that goes on the actual swaybar was missing and was allowing the swaybar to slide about an inch causing the steering to get stuck to one side. i put a new rubber on it with a hose clamp around it and i noticed a very big

difference in the handling of my car and it also doesnt get stuck anymore.

thanks for the help,

I'm glad you found the issue.

That's a "Lateral Lock" by the sound of things.

Did you speak to Whiteline at all? I recommend you get in touch with him. If it was missing; I'm sure he'll help get it sorted for you.

Cheers, Dale.
