Yeah sponsor... the person who took me... trained me... showed me the light... and who has a vested interest in me becoming succesfull... y? Because if i'm not they're not... U'll never get that in traditional business because no one above you wants to train you to be better than them because then you threaten their job!

"""showed me the light"""----oh puuhllease - hook line and sinker....

yep - mission accomplished I'd say - how many do you have to rope in next? (it is usually at least 3 in a pyramid scheme)(networking scheme) (whatever it is fashionable to call it next scheme cos the previous name has lost credibility and been exposed for what it is)

:sadam: :sadam:

BTW - anyone thinking of trying - nuthin - ever - is for FREE - at the very least you will be required / brainwashed / encouraged to get another 3 (yep the magic number) to try it for free but trust me, there will be money in it somewhere for someone (not you for a LONG LONG LONG TIME (and it is ALWAYS up the line in this sort of scam)...

Amway? Scamway!

Interesting I must say. But who to believe?

It is interesting, did you check the date? Feb 2003, with updates 'soon'. says nothing more, then raves on about a totally unrelated case.

The problem is anybody can set up these sites, and instantly they have cred - I am the ultimate sceptic, and anybody who says 'person xxx indited' then goes on to say innocent til proven guilty and rave on for a page about other cases? WTF - its practically liable, certainly misleading IMHO.

Jetpilot1986 - I am a sceptic, but would be willing to give it a go. I am putting down over 300rwkw on stock bottom end, I have a mech diff and also a quickshifter which alot of people say increases wear.

the mech diff is somewhat of a worry - would this reduce the grip? as you say it will reduce friction, I am pretty sure a mech diff needs friction, or it wont lock...?

The box, well, yes it is a bit notchy since the quickshifter went in - any improvement here would be well worth while.

I would love to give this a bash (except perhaps the diff, I would need to know for sure it wouldnt root it), as I am quite sure my car doesnt get an easy life

- I have a relatively large turbo, if I can pick up any off boost power/response I would be exstatic, although it is already very reasonable for the turbo

- any increase in economy would be great (currently best I get is 15L per 100km, before turbo and injector upgrade it was 10L/100km average)

- plus with the power I am making, I am quite sure my bearing are copping a hiding.

The car is a daily driver, so the kays clock up pretty quick too.

More than happy to write up a report at the end.

Steve... cheers budy... yeah basically as Roil is used to treat metal on metal only it doesn't affect things that require friction to operate, i.e. a wet clutch in a motorcycle... though having said that the general belief in the industry is that Roil isn't recommended in LSDs... Does that help? Though i have had a coupla customer's tell me its still worked fine... As for the gearbox... highly recommended... anyone who know Scania's know's that's its near impossible to grab the lower gears in the cold... once Roil was added there has never been such problems... Roil has also taken away the typically notchy feel of Subaru's latest gearboxes as well... in particular the latest generation Forester...

It doesn't worry me that you guys have found shit over tax evasion and that most of you don't understand the dynamics behind MML, and so are giving me more shit over it... I'm an indepedent distributor... and as such a little to do with the company... have a passion for the product, and wouldn't try to market it if it was just another bogus oil additive... and i wouldn't have a living! No i don't rope ppl in... I actually prefer only to sell it retail and NOT to rope ppl in... that way i feel remote from the critical world of MML... forget about the company and who it operates... If the product works, it works... let that be the deciding factor!

Hi guys

I work for a small transport company with a fleet of 10 trucks and 5 utes/vans.

My boss has been using ROIL products for about two years and swears by them.

I am plannng to use some next oil change and will post any noticeable results. The fleet is pretty new ( oldest truck is 98 model ) and they were chucked in there from pretty much the start in motor ,box , diff so its hard to say if they would make any difference. In saying that though 2 trucks are over 200,000km and I swear not one truck has had a mechanical related breakdown except for clutches and one set of injectors due to " envirodiesel " aka poison. But the entire fleet are ISUZU and they have a proven track record for extreme reliability.

Also to bias things a bit my boss does not pay cash for these products. Anyone in business here would be familiar with " trade exchanges " such as Bartercard , E-banc etc. My boss purchases these products through the Tradebart system.

If they became unavailable on trade would he spend hard earned cash on them?

Who knows?

Hmmmm most of these magic oil elixers are pretty dodgy in my opinion. Stuff like Slick 50 have been around for ages, and it does sweet stuff all to an engine. Teflon doesnt bond to metal full stop, and infact, it can ruin and engine. DuPont, the inventors of Teflon stated plainly it teflon has no use in an engine. Yet they still have sold millions of the stuff. Doesnt make it a better product does it? They got nastily spanked at court for false claims.

Ditto with that MotorUp stuff. Its just chlorinated parrafins which do well in stuff like Timken tests, but it eventually breaks down, forms nasty acids and corrodes your engine. Hmmm chlorine.......

So what can Roil do for the car? How does this stuff _really_ work. Is it just another chlorinated parrafin job?

Btw Falex test doesnt really mean much in terms of performance of an oil in an engine. It simply tests the extreme pressure additives in an oil, which in an engine, doesnt undergo these conditions. Its more for testing of gear oils.

Sorry I dont want to appear to slam your product, but I am a skeptic since there is a lot of dodginess out there. But hey, Im glad your letting people test your product for free.

man i'd be happy to try out the roli stuff at cost:) (i'll pay shipping fair is fair) and be happy to let ppl know about my resaults, dyno runs are expensive though and doubt they'll show much on a turbo car as they are famous for running inconsistantly...i belive the proof will be in the driving but its hard to prove to ppl "its smoother now"

pm me your details...

if it works well awsome!!! as my 1JZ bounces off 7800rpm almost daily (a little more protection can't hurt) if not well i'll be forced to bag the crap outta ya on this forum and toymods.org.au :D and well every forum i find ya on

Roil contains no suspended solids such as teflon or graphite that are going to stuff your engine... its a metal coniditioner... and as such treats the metal surfaces to kinda like be all positive charges... in that they repel each other... and so reduce friction! This isn't actually how its done but its the best way of explaining it.

I think there's a very angry young man who is dying to use this:

Best way to kill the naysayers is simple.

Get a MPG reading on a stock car for a full tank.

Use the 'magic juice'.

Record MPG readings after a full tank or more.

Same driver, same driving style.

The effect, if real, should be immediate.

Use Prank's car. That would convince me.

im not tryin to plug the stuff in any way shape or form, i can not believe the utter bs that has come out of some of your mouths or rather fingers.... Fark me does anyone here lik it when v8 bogan rekon that the pushrod is better than the overhead cam, no, but most of you are using that exact same mentality.. do you think when henry for said lets get heaps of workers each doina small jobs everyone said "sh.t!!! good idead henry ol' chap that will revolutionize mankind!" hell NO everyone thought he was mad, when a certain italian (name escapes me starts with g) said in the 15th century hey the earth is round and the sun is the center of the galaxy he was locked up by the church for 22 yrs and nearly murdered!!! shit everyhting deserves a go.. based soley on the roil my turbo spooled 300rpm earlier and on a t51 that makes me happy.. if you care about 1 km extra out of your tank of gas or 1rwkw extra, you are a penny pinching tight ars#, and are probably a person that whinges about petrol prices. (go to japan and check the price and they use more than us)... for me its about looking after my engine, cause when it is a good ten g for a decent rebuild 35 bucks sounds pretty good to me. dont slander something you havent tried... thats my only point, slander it all you like after you have tried it for your self and it doesnt work, but hey i remember 6 years ago a guy brought in to the country an r33 gtr with a dodgey 3rd gear and a mechanic told him to use this new stuff he just got onto, redline shockproof gear oil, goin by what it says it will nearly eliminate the problem, he almost yelled at this mech for tryin to sell him a scam and oil addative that i quote "is slick 50 renamed and works just as well'....time shows and i think all of us here agree it works pretty damn well.. give something ago... i cant imagine a life as skeptical as some of you seem to be, and no i dont have a money tree and yes i work hard for money to spend on my car but if you never try and experiment with new things your life will be pretty lame and boring. if it doesnt work shit bag it, for a free trial who cares, if it does your doin your engine a huge favour and that what i care about...

let the roasting begin

when a certain italian (name escapes me starts with g) said in the 15th century hey the earth is round and the sun is the center of the galaxy he was locked up by the church for 22 yrs and nearly murdered!!! shit everyhting deserves a go..

Galileo.

The problem you are coming up against is simple.

I hazard a guess that there are many people here who are well educated and/or are of advanced age

All of us have heard of engine, fuel, paint, gearbox treatments.

It's old.

It's simply this... extraodinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

If you have a treatment that does all these wonderful things, show us the independent research, tables, graphs, user experiences that coroborates these claims.

T.

I have a 1991 Pulsar GL Hatch (1.6ltr, 57kw's (@fly) of pure, un-adulterated, front wheel drive GRUNT!!! :P) - I'll be a guinea pig if ppl are a bit hesistant with their pride and joy Skylines.

oh, and i use Bi-Lo oil in my car!!! yeeeee-haaa!!! If something can make that super-glue like oil better, then i'm all for it!! :P hahaha, bi-lo. But it's got a checkered flag on the bottle, it's gotta be good! :D

    • Hi soviet_merlin, We appreciate your concern regarding this possibly being some sort of PR/Political hype, I assure you that is not the case, I wish we could claim something like that, but in this case, we merely reached out for comment on the basis of the outrage we too felt, as those heavily in the automotive industry. Ps. the original source in the social media post is CarExpert not CarExplore.    Best, CE.
    • Made a bit of a discovery, but while I was cruising, I randomly decided to test to see if it worked and it showed up on my IC7. The entire time I tested it before, I never thought to turn the ignition on. I only tested it with head lights turned on but with the ignition off. Huge oversight on my end. I’m a dummy. I know.
    • G'day all, I have drilled and tapped the hole for the relocation of the timing belt tensioner. That was straight forward. I'm unsure if I need to also put another hole for the smaller stud that the spring behind the tensioner catches on (this is how it seems to work in its original spot). Or do you not use the spring behind it and just torque it down? Thanks in advance, I did a search but couldn't find anything related and it doesn't mention it in the rb30det sau guide.
    • Hi All,  just thought I would provide an update as I know smooth (Matt) was on this forum from 2003.    my brother Matthew passed away end of may 2024 at the age of 41 from liver failure. I am not sure how many of his original team krazy friends are still on here or active but thought it reasonable to let the forum know.    if you have any photos or pictures it would be great if you could share them.    it took me a while to work out he was active on here.    thanks so much
