Where is this pedal box you speak of?

I believe it's what your pedals are attached to under the dash, their pivot point.

Not keen to rip out my dash....

the pedals should be on seperate little boxes and very few bolts. you should have to remove the dash for it. here a link to a "beefed up" nizmo clutch pedal bracket (look at the thickness compared to standard) http://justjap.com/s...&cat=277&page=1

lol @ $160 for that, but yeah....so THAT'S what it looks like.

haha yeh i know, purely brand name. some people put the old one out and repair it and weld the hell outta it to strengthen it. looks like theres 2 studs that go through the firewall and the clutch master bolts to the other side so you can un bolt that without disconnecting the fuild line and there will be maybe 1 or 2 more bolts from inside the car and it should come out?

hmm...we'll see. Not keen on removing my dash, and even then I have no idea how I'll go about having it welded up

Will need to weld bits of scrap around it too to ensure it doesn't happen again lol, but cheers man. Won't happen til mid July though coz I'm out of the country Wednesday week
