Car - R34 RB25DET NEO

So I got my turbo -manifold gasket blown sometime back and now have it replaced by Jez aka DVS32R from Central Coast today ( he is on SAU, name DVS32R) and all I can say is WOW, the DIFFERENCE it makes ! ! Jez is so good with his work, when I first went to have a road tune by him a few weeks ago (Nistune) he told me I have a leak in my turbo-manifold gasket from the rattle sound the car was making, and sure enough when we pulled apart the turbo today and got the gasket out, it was blown and one of the 4 nuts on the stud was missing.

Replacing that and taking it for a re-tune on the road and...what can I say - RESPONSE everywhere, and smooth as peanut butter, the car just PULLS now to redline so cleanly and quickly - full boost of 12psi on stock turbo at 2500-2600RPM...just brilliant.. Cruising off boost at 2800-3000rpm, a nice little tap on the gas pedal and I see INSTANT max boost easy as, just so excited, feels so much lighter and stronger now..

Thats not to say we had a frustration hour when the a/f ratios leaned out at some point in the tune during boost..that was aaarrrrggghh...tryna figure out what went wrong where, but reloading the old 'good map' and fine tuning that, and we are not far from perfection...absolutely happy with the result, if anyone wants a TUNE or ANY mechanical work on their ride, then I very highly recommend Jez (DVS32R) from central coast - he loves his cars and his work is top notch so are his prices..

Thank you Jez, you made my day today..Brilliant

Sorry to bring up an old post, but does anybody know where to get a Mani-turbo besides off Internet websites? I hate dealing with that shite.. Like a mechanic in melb that would have some spare that I could buy one off? I figure Racepace is usually mostly gtr stuff

Oh good idea cheers! Chris from Racepace said I have a leaking mani-head gasket too though.. I don't know if the gasket itself is stuffed or if it's just the missing bolt that's causing the leak. Thanks you though I'll look tao up!
