Why doesn't any one use the V groove BCPR's?

Their part number is BCPR6EY they are gapped at 1.1mm, so gap them down.

I've had both the standards and V grooves in and the V grooves definately feel punchier & pulls smoother through out the rev range.

With the standard non V-groove copper plugs I felt the car slightly hessitating with a .8mm gap on 1 bar of boost with around 25degree's of timing, to stop it hessitating I had to pull timing out which made it feel sluggy.

Slapped the V grooves in with 1bar and 25degree's, it definately pulls a lot harder.

I fiddled around a bit with standards in v-grooves in then back again. I am 100% sure the V-grooves perform much much better.

anyone using champion gold? i have heard they are really good, not iridium so u need to change them twice as many times as iridium but when they are like under $10 bucks for 4 i think, who is complaining?

they were reviewed agains the likes of HKS, splitfire, etc etc some of these plugs were in the vicinity of $100 per plug!

if anyone knows the part number for these plugs i would love to know

Don't buy Iridiums and gap them to 0.8, buy the version that is already gapped to 0.8. Sure you can be careful and gap them, but why take the risk? The 0.8mm ones are readily available and I have them in my car.

As for buying 6 sets of coppers for the price of one set of platinums or iridiums, I would rather pay 6 times the price to not have to change the plugs 6 times :P

I can't remember, but it has been listed here in the past by someone. From memory it's mostly the same part numbers just with an 8 instead of a 1 or something near the end. I didn't know this until I went to gap mine and found that they were already 0.8. So I was just lucky.
