044 Intank?

any one put the 044 intank in a 32 gtst?

i've got an 040 in mine, kind of the same but not

040 has an integral pickup.

044, as it's meant to be an external pump, requires some fittings and a sock filter.

040 - easier to fit, may be slightly cheaper.

044 - slightly harder to fit, flows more, stock-type filter setup. Can also get it lower in the tank without issues.

how much did hypedrive charge man? and i no its a outer tank i got it because i was told it has better flow and that it wasnt very hard to fit.

i did this for my old 33.

just used two hose clamps and tighten the pump to the bracket then got some fuel hose to attach that to the end of the pump with the correct fittings and the other end to put the filter sock on. Cant remember if i had to bend the bracket to fit the pump in.

Yep. Was ages ago and IIRC it was around the purchase price of the pump.

I fitted my own internal 044, used a e-series falcon sock. Had to machine the fitting for the sock, hardly impossible, just a pain. If you can get someone to do it real cheap, or get the right fittings, then go for it.
