XRATED
you need to add tune cost to that. i know that GT were $1100 base price for complete nistune job. 650 is only instaled. it wont run like that so you then have to instal it and tow it to a workshop then have them tune it wich will be min $300 so theres almost your 1100 for gt. im pretty sure boost is cheaper than that but power fcs are cheap and they come with a base map and do all the things you need. nistune is the cheapest way you will get around it but for the price and added benifits of a power fc it would have to be the next cheapest option. if you find other cheaper ecus like link you will need to find a tuner that will be happy to tune with it. everyone tunes power fcs. If you plug in a pfc it won't run out of the box if your running bigger inj's or differnent afm etc. The nistune runs a stock map (same as pfc), so once installed it will run like a standard ecu... unless there is a wiring change for z32/rb20 ecu (pretty shure there isn't. just search it) for your application. Whoever you get to install the nistune or tuner should be able to make the required changes for inj and afm etc to the ecu off the car, so you can drive the car in to get tuned. But go with what your tuner is happy with.. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/363724-tassie-wanted-thread/page/12/#findComment-5981292 Share on other sites

I wouldn't drive it to work for 2 weeks but... also +1 go with what ever your tuner likes best, because at the end of the day, any ECU is only as good as it's tuner. Mr. Untouchable
If you plug in a pfc it won't run out of the box if your running bigger inj's or differnent afm etc. takes about 2 minutes to set it up to run. has z32 and vh41/q45 afm as a option, then set the injectors. if i can do it, your dog can do it. and i drove my car for 2 weeks like this as my daily. nothing over 5k but still did it with no harm done. when i scaled the injectors, they "should" of been set to 50% but i left them at around 65% to be on the safe side. you can leave latency time as is to just get it from a to b Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/363724-tassie-wanted-thread/page/12/#findComment-5984570 Share on other sites

Just as easy. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/363724-tassie-wanted-thread/page/12/#findComment-5984693 Share on other sites
DanielH
Nistune is as easy as: 1: Receive 2: Plug in 3: Drive just like standard And after that its all down to aftermarket bits/ tuning. Yes... but there is some changes that need to be made in order to run larger injectors or afm.
