Rego Papers

I just noticed this today, Is that right? RTA rego papers say its a 2006 model but that was the import year. Ive had the car for 8 months and didn't really look at the year on the RTA papers until i switches the number plates.

(sounds like a bad oversight but i bought the car from a very trusted source, and I've known the car for 3 years before owning it.)

its definitely a 96 model car. I asked the bird at the RTA in Blacktown she had NO idea, couldn't even tell me who i can talk to to find out.

If its wrong, is my car technically not registered / Insured?
