Angle Of Side Mirrors

is it normal that my driver side mirror is angled slightly outwards (about 5mm out) when compared to the passenger side? just noticed it today

Roy, Do you mean the whole mirror cover of the driver side is angled slightly outwards, or just the mirror?

Mine looks the same, but will see if they are different later.

hi victor, the whole mirror cover is angled slightly outwards.

it's hardly noticable but I found out yesterday coz i was trying to fit a sponge in there to put some back to black on the plastic arm holding the mirror (was getting slightly greyish)

Ok. It could have been hit from the back to forward position by someone when the car was parked?

I am also guessing you already tried folding and un-folding the mirrors?

I will have a look at mine. If it's the same, I will let you know and we can try to solve the same problem.

yea i tried the auto fold/unfold but it returns to the same position. Doesn't look like its been hit or anything so was wondering if it was normal. no big deal.

i remember on mine the passanger side cover was a bit more inwards (towards the back of car) than the driver side...i think its normal but maybe the screw is a bit loose and needs to be positioned and tightened again. - just a guess at what might be
