Hey ppls.

I've been browsing the Nengun pages and I see these "Cooling Panels" (the one shown was for an S15) which look like they sit above the radiator to replace the standard plastic one...

Is there any advantage to these or are they pure rice?

Does anyone here have one for a skyline?

www.nismo.com.au sells them. They are supposed to help direct airflow that comes in through the grill. I'm sure they had some sort of benefit, how much are they worth on Nengun? I personally wouldn't pay more than about $30 for one.

As far as I can see they cut off airflow through the grill to the radiator. $150 ??? it is so easy to make yourself if you want one. cut a template from cardboard and transfer it to a piece of alum sheet from your local hardware about 0.8mm about $12. You can cut the stuff with heavy duty scissors. For Brissy people i've got template for R33 GTS25T

even easier would be to take the alum to a place with a guilitione press, for $5 they will cut u the alum. Then u get that perfect cut surface

Jay - I'd be pretty keen on getting a template if your willing to post to Canberra :(

Or even better, if you could post it up on SAU somewhere

I've got a nice peice of alloy that I've been eyeing off for this project for a while now...

Cheers

They guy's

I have made one this weekfor a 33GTST and will be doing a group buy next week

They are made from brushed stainless steel so they look very similar to the genuine ARC ones. No need to polish and keep polished like aluminium.

They are computer drawn, then computer plasma cut and professional folded

At he moment I will have 33GTST and soon have 33 GTR, s15.

If I can get hold of a r34 and r32 so I can copy them I will be making them aswell.

Price will be $70 plus post.
