My name is stuart and i have a issue with my r32gtr,

2 weeks ago the car just stoppeed and i believed either the cas or the ignition module was faulty,i borrowed both parts off a mates car and found it to be ignition moduel.

I bought a new unit and that has fixed that origional problem.I now have another

If i stand on the load pedal at 5000 rmp the car gets a flutter[like rev limit but softer]and the car still boosts fine, but if i squeeze the load pedal the car revs to 8000 rpm with out any flutter.

i have regaped plugs, cleaned and insulated coil packs[super sparks 2 years old,14,000km's]removed amm and resoldered, plus undone all elec plugs and cleaned with electronic spray.i have also looped out boost controller and checked rev limit on power fc.all sensor are working onthe car corectly.

Has any one else had similar problem and found the answer it would greatly appreciated.Thank you for your time

I take off and nail it and at 5000 to rev limit 8000 there it is the fluffy off tone hesitaion, but the car still pulls hard, damo of sau tassy thought it may be fuel pump so i clamped off fuel return line last night still has same issue.

I also lowered the rev limit on power fc then back to the 8000 as set made no difference, thought maybe a computer glintch.

I have also disconected battery for 1 day to reset power fc.

If the coil packs and plugs dont fix,i am going to borrow a feul pump gauge and a nother power fc and amm,

all the parts i a borrowing are off a mate gtr that has same tune as mine.so i wont have to change any peramaters in fc

Stu, you go into the sensor output screen on the pfc, this is a good way to test the afms. If they put out a different voltage (noticable diff) you have a problem. Are you running an aftermarket fpr?

Hi rbnt

It looks like i have found the problem, one coil pack seems to be the issue,i have fitted my mate new units this morning and the issue has gone,so what i am going to do is keep putting min e back in one by one till i find faulty one.

A good call on the fuel pump i think i will buy a new unit as this one is 5+ years old.

A BIG THANKS TO EVERY ONE WHO HAVE GIVEN ME ASSISTANCE,AND I WILL HAVE TO UPGRADE PARTS.

STUART
