Hi, my car started making creeking noise when its really cold in the morning coming from the left hand front. thought the sockers would be gone... so i check underneath the vehicle on the hoist and found one of the drive shaft boots has a massive split....where it was making creeking noise during the mornings, so was wondering if they can be re-booted or re-conditioned?

You talking about the CV boots - easy fix, of course, it can be fixed. Get a new boot and spend a day with mates and a slab of beer doing it

I have had the same problems, although the creaking noise is the swaybar + its bushes.

CV joints always need boots in good condition so replace them, but don't expect the noise to go away. Generally CV's will clunk or grind when they are buggered - more so at or near full lock.
