Turbo? Help

hi, i am fairly new to the force introduction and i got a turbo from a friend who was going to put it on a vw gli. well the turbo i have is a t3v band? i have no clue on the specs although he said he had bought it for 1500. us

and i would like to know so that i can put it on my z or if not i will sell it. hope fully you guys can help me out???? also its brand new no shaft play, his car caught on fire before he could install it.

Paid $1500 for a T04E? Oh dear...

Have a look @ the rear housing A/R, it looks quite big, in which case it would probably be a rather bad choice and terribly laggy for the power output

I have one looks to be the same on a rb30det doesnt hit boost in first gear untill the 4500-5000 grand mark.

Not really a good turbo choice for responsiveness on small capacity motors.

But it is a good turbo for making large power if thats what your planning.

Most T04E's wont make more than 270-280rwkw (20psi). Depends on what spec, but the vast majority don't have massively efficient comp wheels that flow air.
