I held off driving a family car all throughout my L and P plate times. The skyline was the first car I picked up since I got my fulls and enjoy every minute of it.

Stay safe and enjoy dude, take care of your car and she will take care of you.

I still remember mine...

*wheel spinning in third gear because I didn't know wtf this whole "full boost" thing was.

Haha the GTR was my first manual, still remember dropping the clutch too hard at the lights and spinning the wheels... Ahhh memories :D

Haha same I drove an 88 Toyota camry since I was 16.

Thanks don't ask :) I'm so pumped! I get sonexcited to go to work and leave work now so I can just drive it. :)

Congrats mate - some helpful advice a friend was given when he bought his skyline and he gave me when I bought mine:

1) don't accelerate around corners

2) don't accelerate around corners

3) don't accelerate around corners

take it easy, they are great cars but they will bite you if you don't respect them. I've seen an R33 written off right in front of me by someone who failed to obey the above rules.

I can highly recommend an advanced driving course, it will get you aquainted with what happens when you lose traction. Besides that, enjoy they are great cars :worship:

Is Mum waiting at home for you Jarrad?

Mums are always concerned when first you walk > ride a bike > skateboard > L plates > P1 > Blacks hehe...

Driving courses through Ian Luff etc
