Hey Guys,

I have been reading through threads about this but non are really specific to the RB25DE NON VCT. I would like to know if an RB20DET ECU will run an RB25 non vct and are the looms the same?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Aaron

the ecu would run it, but not very well. for starters the mapping is for a 2.0L engine with lowercompression and a turbo bolted to it and you are putting it on a higher compression, larger displacement engine. if you are planning on putting a nistune in it then yes it should be fine once it's tuned.

i reckon you should be okay, is the 25DE you are using from a 32? ive got a R32 that has a 20det and have a (32)25de/wiring loom/afm/ecu (and a T to be added) that i wanna put in and so far the looms look very similar
