Rb26Dett Cas Removal

Hey guys , im trying to paint my rocker covers on my 26, but i cant seem to take out the Cam angle sensor .. Ive taken off all 3 screws that hold it in place, and it won't slide out . Ive tried really hard , even using a screwdriver and prying gently from the top but it wont budge one bit..

Any ideeas on how to remove it ?

EDIT: Oh forgot to specify its in a '93 GTR , so probably hasn't been out in a very long time?

U have the right idea. Does it rotate?

Phew! took it out just before , used a hammer to tap it gently then used another big screwdriver to pry it out .. Finally it came out , just cant believe the ammount of force you need to take it out , when it should just slide out ..

Theyre not normally that tight. Must be a virgin
