Unusual Interior Item

Hello guys im new to this forum and I have only just bought a new GTR and it's a 1997/12 built vspec and I have this unusual item on my dash next to the rear fog light switch ( below antenna height switch ) . Could anyone shed some light? Had Terry look at it the other day but both unsure

With 5000km written on it could it be an indicator for needing a service?

Yeh i thought it was that but what am I checking hahah the car is a stock as , untouched with no mods at all

Thats what it looks like. Probs some weird aftermarket service indicator. Have you checked were the harness goes to?

Mmm very strange. I've never seen one b4, but I've never been in a s3 33gtr so I can't really comment. Anyone with a s3 gtr care to verify?

Hahahaha my mate has this same thing in his R34 GTR. Never seen another one before until now. He made a thread about it aswell, i'll try and find it.

Only thing I could suggest. Get a mould of it do another one for the other side.

Yeah im starting to think i will have to. I really dont wanna get rid of the front bar i like the sleeper look.
