R32 Power Steering

i have a r32 gst the power steering works off the speedo and if the speedo cable breaks which in my case is happenin the power steering stops working.

i have tried metal speedo cable which after a while of hard driving brakes as well

i was wondering if there was away around it has any one else had this trouble with this in there car?

did you use a new cable or fitted an old cable? i would try a brand new cable and make sure you route it properly. otherwise something in your cluster might be binding causing the end to break off

yea i used a brand new cable but there must be away to cut a wire to the ecu to tell it to work all the time even if the speedo isnt working cause when people put 20s in 31s u can still get the power steering to work
