Quick Question

My r32 that i got with a blown up motor that had already been pulled out

has got the rear sensor from the gearbox pulled out we the sensor is still there but the cables snapped off it

dodgy mechanic what are the sensors for on the gear box there is 2 and just wanted to know that they are used for

and if anyone has a spare rear sensor with plug lol
