hay guys,

ive just finished putting back the plemum back on after blowing 2 throttle body seals.

all was sweet till boost at 5500rpm, then bang a big plume of black smoke, and the car noseing over.

at first it felt like a huge miss, but after closer inspection i cant see any reasons y it would be missing.

new plugs, different coil packs and different coil pack loom, and a different igniter module. didnt make a differance.

any ideas would be good.

How is it idleing now? Any chance u pushed another seal out? What type of gaskets did u use?

no air leaks, idles fine, hks metal gaskets, cylinder no3 is the only plug that gets dark after a run. if that helps,

Has the Vipec got a full proper tune on it? If you hit a limit on it (ie. boost limit, going off of the map etc), it usually does a fuel cut which will be like hitting a wall.

na its got a full tune on it limiter is set to 7800rpm.
