Martin Donnon
Even at a fast track bcl - a real fast track - its not uncommon to see a 350awkw R35 absolutely destroy 500kw+ other awd and 2wd cars. Not only is it area under the torque curve, but also the tyre friction curve. About the only thing that will keep a 35 in sight in terms of kg/kw (or lack thereof) is the Evo X Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/365871-new-2011-r35-first-impressions/page/3/#findComment-5907768 Share on other sites
«Cyph3r»
Of course I haven't had the pleasure of driving the 458 yet ( I have sat in one and reved the %^# out of it though!) so I cant comment on Ferraris new box. The Ferrari gearboxes are still very disappointing, not even on par with the DSG boxes in the Evo X. We took some F430s and a 458 up the mountains on a recent trip to Italy and were shocked at how clunky and slow the boxes are.
