Why are you only limiting it to builders in SA? Red R Racing in Newcastle has built probably more top notch RB26's than anyone else in OZ. Mate of mine bought an already built motor from Paul and he would be in contact with him nearly daily giving him updates with what was going on with his motor and also trouble shooted for him.

There is a thread in the SA section of someone sending their 26 over to him not long ago. Maybe send him a PM for another price. If the cost is pretty close I'd be more inclined to send it over there to be honest.

kitto its defo worth chatting to rhemac anyway... i'd personally narrow it down to them or allan as both do fantastic work. as for parts you want to use theres plenty of proven packages floating around so all the forum advice is all here. but yeah stock rods, CP's, MLS hg, bearings, ARP's throughout and the oil pump of your choice should be all that you need.
