I've known too many people who've destroyed their own engines because they don't have a clue. Don't become an RB murderer.

I do most of my own work, because I have the knowledge and the tools. But the tuning I leave with the pros.

I did say I knew too many people ... not one particular person. I used your comment to reinforce that statement, not single you out. If you've taken it personal, then so have 100 others I'm referring to. Take it anyway you want. People must know their limitations. If you want to DIY then research it, don't just dive into it. The fact is, people have ruined engines with guesswork. I've never destroyed an engine that wasn't on the race track.

Having said that, I've learnt alot over the years both researching it, and wrecking it.

So ... going back to addressing the OP ... take it to a pro. Before it becomes more costly than necessary.
