tyre wear

hey guys... my knowledge is very limited when it comes to suspension etc.

so i have a one question. bear with me.

i have 265/40/17 on the rears and i notice that the tread on the inside halves of each tyre is diminishing at a quicker rate than that of the outside halves.

i bought the car as is with stock suspension although it is lowered (i have a feeling the springs have been chopped).

is this type of wear typical for fat tyres? or is it advisable to get a camber kit or something??

hey noods, get a wheel alignment done by somewhere that can do alignments for 4 wheel steer cars.

Its either too much camber (kit required) or incorrect toe (it should be 0 or -0.5 only) any more than that causes huge wear.

yeah mine started out of the sales yard really bad. first set of tires Well legal on the outside. bald for an inch on the inside.

Found a good tyre place...

This second set are now going very well....

Regular rotations and balances help a lot to...
