Yesterday I spent some time organising CTP insurance for the stag & bike plus comprehensive for the stag. Saved a bit of cash on my comprehensive which kicked off from yesterday.

All sweet I thought, till I get up this morning and find that some asshole tried to break into my car lastnight using an ISUZU key. They also destroyed the rainshield on the passenger side.

The one and only time I left the navman visible cause I had my hands full, I suppose I should be thankfull they didnt smash a window to get to it.

Anyway, now I gotta hunt down one of these shields.

Bugger. Sucks when that happens. Question is "do you claim & pay the excess or fix it yourself". In this case it probably isn't worth going through your insurance. Always sad to hear these stories.
