Hey guys,

Im changing my brakes on Friday and I've got with cross slotted rotors. However, I'm after a pad that will work with these but are also low in dust and especially noise. My current brakes are shocking.

Anyone who knows of some then please let me know!

Hi Callum,

As I said on the phone, and just FYI for everyone else, HPX we've phased out in favor of a better performance street pad. It's a European performance pad called Remsa, which is rated to 650 degrees (versus 550 for the HPX), whilst still being low dust and rotor wear. Also the Remsa come with noise reducing features such as a relief groove and shamfers in the pad material, as well as a soft backing shim, all of which the HPX do not come with. We've been supplying Remsa to high performance street road cars like Porsche and Ferrari for many years, but the pricing has now become such that we're now able to expand it to most road cars. Remsa to suit the front of GTST is $89 for the set. Rear's we're still doing HPX for now, and they're $79 for the set.

Regards,

Greg

What pads are in there now?

You might want to get your discs machined while there of, depending on how worn/lipped they are.

You cant go wrong with bendix, you shouldn't have any dramas with noise, or qfm. There all much the same for street use, I've used both bendix and qfm and never had problems with noise.

Not to sure but there s**t. Screaming noises and rims covered in dust after 2 days

They do, but we're not ordering them in until the 6 or 7 remaining sets of HPX have sold. Pricing from memory on the rears is about the same.

Ok cool. Well I hope you have the rears for me on hold.

I will see you on Friday!

I'm using project mu b-spec on slotted rotors - I get very very low brake dust and no noise at all - also running project mu shims so might help a little also.

Highly recommend for street
