Hi Guys

Looking at an 02 250 GT at the moment to replace the good old GT8. Found this one, freshly imported with original 'shaken' docs.

-18" Rims

- Fujitsubo Exhaust

- Nismo Suspension

Needs registration in WA. Can any of you see a possible issue with it?

Managed to get it down to $14,500. Everything looks good outside and in. What do you guys think?

Is this a fair price?

?? What happened to the edit button ??

A few other details i forgot to mention :

* 44,000 Km on the clock

* Double din ready (yay!)

The agreed price is actually $13,500. He knocked out an extra grand for the licensing and examinations. The colour is...different..but my missus seems to take real liking to it :rolleyes:

As soon as i get the car, my plan is to take the window guard off and possibly the spoiler.

Since i have to take it in the pits, do you guys think they'll make a big deal out of the current rims? It passed compliance so i think there shouldn't be a problem there, no?

:cheers:

You may want to check if that was the factory color or if the car was fully resprayed. I do recall them coming in a red but not sure if thats the red. Post the color code on here which can be found on the build plate and you should be able to check what the original color is.

Have to admit its a nice color, price is ok, not extremely cheap being a 250GT but I would be skeptical about the kms. For around that price, you could probably score a nice 300GT or maybe even a 350GT if you haggle hard enough. Remember, its a buyers market.

I'll double check the colour code as soon as i get the chance. I was a little skeptical about the kms too. But everything is so well taken care of. The engine is spotless and the interior and bottom of the car too.

Not too many options here in WA. Much of these cars resides in the eastern states. I already checked out 4 other cars. Two of them are 6MTs. They either have money owing on them or ridiculous asking price and not willing to budge on it. But none of them, none, came close to the pristine condition of this 250GT.

Btw, the car came with a japanese inpection report stating original mileage and full service history of the car. I'm a little skeptical on these as well. Are these documents a common paper accompanying an imported car?

EDIT: I just found out that it's actually a 250 GTm! I heard these only have a 4 speed tranny, are they any good? I can still cancel the deal, give me your opinion guys!:worship:

i think this is the "red" they come in (someone correct me if im wrong) ....http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f2/2006-Infiniti-G35-sedan.jpg looks a bit lighter and different to your one up there which looks darks and a bit different shade (maybe post some more pics)

It does look similar ay?Maybe mine is a little darker, i don't know..i'm colour stupid anyways. I'll check the paint code tomorrow and post it here. More pics to compare beneath :)

From what I can remember that is a very rare factory colour - I reckon that's a good buy if it has books and the export certificate.

Coming from you, that's really awesome to hear :thumbsup: It comes with all the docs and certificate. Owner manual and service books are also included. Still considering it but i'm leaning more towards buying it now.

Heres more pics of the car minus the deep dish rims. Scroll down to the last 2 pics cause there's a couple of things i've never seen before in a v35. I was hoping you guys can tell me what they are.

Cheers Guys :cheers:

Thanks guys, more confident in buying now!

Couple of things ;

1. Is it possible to remove the plastic guard off the windows? I kinda like the car without it.

2. I'm planning to install a double din mp3/cd etc on it but would be nice if i can use the factory screen for video input off my iPhone. Anyone can point me to a diy?
