hi guys,

just a quick one, i've just fitted some 17x10's to the rear of my cefiro & i'm looking for some decent rims for up front. i currently run 17x9 +38 meshies up front which with 40mm wider gards still needed to be rolled...

question is, will 9.5" wide rims fit up front okay???

i'm looking at the koya drift tek in 17x9.5 +18 offset...

thanks,

They will clear, just.

I've got 17x9 +30s, up the front, they sit flush with the guard, and about 3-5mm away from coilover, althought it can be more depending on the ride height.

At high speeds, it rubs on the coilover, noticeable less when it's not slammed.

depends on ur ride height, stiffness and wheel allignment. im running r33 gtr wheels which are 17x9.5, with 215/45 tyres, with stock ride height, stiff suspension, rolled guards, 2 degrees neg camber, not sure bout caster and they occasionally scrub at full lock usually wen im doing big angles with lots of speed at full lock

I've got 33 R wheels as well, they're 17 x 9, not 9.5.

You running any spacers?

I run 1 degree camber, stock guards, slammed and the only rubbing is on the coilover at high speeds up front, and I'm running 225s.

Sometimes the rears rub on the guards if I'm not carefull when reversing out driveway...they're 235s, and not sure of camber, more than the fronts.

Getting 215s all round tomorrow, that might help a bit.

Any idea's where yours are rubbing?

I dont have any issues on full lock.

Have you got the splash guards inside the wheel arches ?

17x9.5 +5 upfront on mine with stock guards

Care to pull more pics from previous owner's build thread? :P :P

Specifically...the ones showing all the rubber on the side mirror.... haha

Was running 9+30 with a 30mm spacer on the front of mine which sat about flush with 225/45 and 3 deg of camber. Now have 9.5+18 with a 235/45 and don't really like as the sit a bit too close to the coilover and sit in the gaurd a little bit more than the 9s. Would ideally like to run a 9 with 0 to -10 offset and a 225/40 tyres with my current amount of camber. Kris has it done right need mine to be like that :D

Note: am running r33 lca's with the knuckle pulled right out and abused standard gaurds.
