R34 Reverse Light Lens

I'm trying to do a DIY LED conversion to my reverse lights, but I can't seem to be able to get the lens off the reverse lights.

Can anyone tell me how to take it off?

Ask 666Dan, he tried to remove them but apparently wasnt easy.. I think it came down to a cut and shut job..

Yeah... That's what I kinda figured... I tried to undo all the plastic clips but it wouldn't move one bit.

Then I was thinking is this an oven job? But it can't be, as the lens and backing is all plastic...

So now I'm thinking if it's a cut and shut job.. Is it worth it? In case the LED panel dies after a few months lol
