Changing your alignment away from the correct setting to get wheels to fit is a terrible idea. You're making your car suck instead of investing in the correct offset wheels - dont do it!

WRT stretch, being at the stretched end of the tyre manufacturers rim width recommendation is the best handling option.

And if the tyre will hit the guard, stiffer springs doesn't fix that. It means it will happen less often, but will still happen.

Even if I could half the frequency that the two connect that would be great. The BCs that I had on my old Silvia were miles better and had a quater of the travel that these ones do in the rear. I guess they designed them so you can put a load in the back. I'd like to avoid camber if possible, I'm not a huge fan of the excessive caber look.

I spoke with one of the Staff members at Redline Performance and he advised that I look into rolling my guards slightly. Might go up in spring rate slightly too. I'll start by taking off my wheel arches and seeing what I can do to give the wheel a bit more room to travel up and down in the wheel well.

    • Try fabricating something like this and install it under the pedals? Not sure if it's legal or not....
    • Even though I have some pretty good (brand) ratchet ringies, I avoid using them to break open tight bolts. A broken ratchet is very annoying.
