Hey guys,

just changed the batteries in my remotes. Everyday key works fine but my spare does not lock/unlock etc. When i first took possession of the car i had a factory upgrade done to immobiliser/alarm so that i could utilise factory keys, any reason why one would work and the other would not?

Any takers...Chris lol?

Maybe one was for factory immobilizer and the other for the upgraded immobilizer, the installer took out or disabled the factory one so it does nothing and thats why the other key just unlocks the upgraded alarm and your factory key does nothing?

This may be useless as i dont know what key you have but...

would absolutely LOVE to see that one done..

as for a dead remote. I would check that you have a good battery in it and it is the right way up.

To install a Haltech Platinum you need to rip the whole immobilizer out ... so if you would love to see that then ask Rossi who has had it done.

Any actual advice other than check the battery... i was only trying to help.

I put a brand spanking new battery in the remote and definitely the right way up lol.

I called up the shop i had it done at cos one of the lads also has a V35. He said his is the same and has NFI why, is enquiring with Nissan to try and resolve.
