Car Rebirthing Question

I was watching ACA tonight and they had a issue on Car Rebirthing. They had a gentleman have his car taken off him because of this. He had a REVS certifacate and i was under the pressure that if you had a REVS certifacate that there was nothing the government could do as you bought it under clear title.

Can anyone shed some light on what is required? Can they reposess your car like that?

Hi.A revs certificate only covers if the previous owner has a outstanding debt to pay on the car.So you dont buy into his debt and the finger is not pointed at u if somthing like that ever did arise.

if the car was written off, doesn't a full blueslip check enable it to be re-registered?
