Japanese Tv Shows Subtitles/scripts

Although my Japanese conversation and reading are getting better (I think/hope) I find understanding Japanese TV difficult. Therefore I want to try and get some subtitles/scripts and read them before watching the shows. I have searched on the net but cant find any in Japanese for Japanese shows. I am assuming anime would be the easiest but cant find anything. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Japanese -> Japanese scripts will be hard to find i think. i'm not even sure where to begin looking for something like that. does JP TV have closed captions?

if its japanese -> english i can provide some anime scripts.

I dunno about the closed captions. Besides I really want to read them before watching the shows rather than at the same time.

Thanks for the offer of English scripts but I really want Japanese ones so I can check vocab etc.
