Help With Exhaust

Hey guys,

I recently bought a exhaust system not long ago and it arrived yesterday. The system looks great but the thing is the cannon has some sorta sandy sound in it? When I lift it up and lean it to one side these tiny little metal particles comes out plus I see some clear crystally tiny balls comin out? Is there something wrong with it? My previous system doesn't have that.

sounds like packaging has broken open and enteres the silencer. just try to shake it all out, can't hurt the car.

I see, any idea what those clear crystally balls are then? there are heaps of them.

has it been sandblasted ?

if you got a muffler its prolly from that.

When my muffler dragged on the driveway it slowly wore a hole in to it

and all the fiberglass pads came out.

no im pretty sure it hasnt been sandblastered and the muffler doesnt have any holes in it

doing my head in.

Worked out to be a shitload of carbon build up. No idea what the other stuff is but my god Im not gonna try to tap it out again. Cough!
