ok so ive recently bought a 400r front bar for my series 1 skyline. 2 things:

it wont fit unless i remove the front reo. is this a common problem? do many people take it off and leave it off to fit intercoolers/front bars etc?

secondly, the bar didnt come with indicators, but it has a mould for round indicators, which is obviously different to series 1 indicators, any ideas how i can get past this problem?

thanks heaps :)

Dave

Yeah mate, pretty common to butcher the reo to make after-market bars fit unfortunately. If you still want to fit it, grab an angle grinder and slowly remove where required until the bar fits. Just remember that your removing a structural part of the car, and it's more likely to receive damage to the radiator/condenser etc in a crash.

And you'll have to source your own indicators and wire them in, there's some very neat LED units being made now...
