Hey guys, just joined to forum last night so i thought id introduce myself..

Daniel - 19yo - Based in Thornleigh, NSW

ive joined this forum simply because i love the Stagea M35

thought id join it before i bought one to chat with a few of you !

perhaps learn a little more about the car and get to know a few of you, hope to see some of you around the place aswell

Definatley wanting a stagea.. but cose im on P's the ARX-four may be out of the question with the bloody Turbo laws for P Platers

interestingly enough they havent banned the 250t RS... so that may be the path i have to head down in order to own this beast legally on p's

would love to know peoples thoughts on the topic and your thoughts on a 250t vs ARX-four

Cheers Daniel

theyre all banned to P platers under the turbo laws.

I bought my ARX on my P's and got away with it..

you may be able to apply for discretion which may allow you to drive it..

but i didnt get pulled over once..

first time getting checked 2 days ago and thats only coz he wanted to see if my exhaust had a cat,

either you love an ARX or hate it..

majority will say get a 250t, but i own an ARX and would never get a 250t lol

nah if you have a look on the 109 page list the RTA have only banned the ARX

http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/licensing/downloads/200909_prohibited_vehicles_list.pdf

its sooo dumb !... as im sure your well aware of haha ;)

i know what you mean about liking or not liking the ARX... i personally do like it

the only thing that concerns me are the black bumpers in regards to maintenance.

ive seen alot of other cars where that has faded and it looks shit house... how do you go about caring for that :)

what kind of products are out there to keep it looking new ?

Cheers, Daniel

i see..

black bumpers have never faded for me, its just a plastic rub guard..

just wash em and they come up fine.. but if u polish the car, steer away from em as it will leave PITA marks on them..

voice your questions(within reason)

everyones happy to help

    • Well, fun day was had, I finally found a house that will do me just fine, 1980's brick build, but with full fresh renovations, plus new colour bond fencing all round so puppies are incoming 馃悤, and water tanks for the garden, and it's located in West Goulburn..... @Duncan 馃, so day trips to Wakie to watch cars going Zoom will be on the cards In the end it cost well under my budget and was actually better than alot of the more expensive joints I was looking at, it is in a good area, close enough to the shops, public transport, and the Wollondilly River Weir,  and the great walking paths along the river, but far enough away from town to see minimal traffic The deposit is dropped, the conveyancer is conveyancing and I should get the keys in a week or 2 as the property is currently unoccupied  As with everything I own, I'm doing up a modifications list, as it doesn't have solar, that is first up on the big list, all of the panels and enough batteries to keep the joint warm, or cool, followed by a largish carport out the front, the small list, which will start as soon as I have keys, is some security stuff, like cameras, screens, and the usual "crazy prepper" additions that weird old people like (mouse holes to stick shot guns out of, and the usual man traps that the average person installs for the unsuspecting and unwanted guests 馃ぃ) The gardens front and back are OK, but, not to my standards or liking, so landscaping will be a fun job to start getting into, so when spring is sprung I'll do a heap of planting, lots of natives and vegetables is the plan, the old owners were more "Old English Garden" type, so basically Roses and other weird looking things that are destined for the green waste bin One thing that is staying garden wise is a nice established hedge out the front, it is about 5 foot tall and covers the whole front of the property from prying eyes As for the car hoist, the roof in the garage has some height to it, but, I'll need to get an installer out to see what can be done, width wise may be a issue, but my building inspector will be getting back to me over the next week with his recommendations  Small, but cosy
