Im looking at getting a new water pump for my 26/30 and just looking at my options.

A N1 pump is one option or I have been thinking about a electric pump setup like this

Is anyone running a electric water pump as im leaning more that way as it can keep cooling after the engine is off

yes ive been running one for around 6 months, the nylon 115 with the controller. only problem i have had is one hot summer day it blew the main fuse that feeds it, i guess the engine bay temp and the hot day combined with the long run of the wire to the battery did it, the wire is sorta smallish so i upgraded it and haven't had a problem since. with the existing pump i just pressed the shaft out and welded up the whole. very happy with it thus far.

upgraded alloy radiator, handles hard driving fine. i just have a davies craig thermo fan going, running on a mechanical temp switch. The new davies craig controllers can control both the pump and fan which ive been thinking of upgrading too. Ill get some pics for you.
