Oil Pipe Name Or Part Number

Hey guys, wondering if someone can tell me what part number or name of the oil pipe is in this picture. The mechanic I took it to said that was the wrong pipe on my engine. It also used to have a slit in it but the mechanic cut it off because it was long enough to be reclamped. another thing is the hose is all soft and moldy.

Rocker cover breather hose. Just say it's the breather hose from the rocker cover to the intake manifold for an RB20E (that's what it is yeah?)

Is it important? Is it ok if I just leave it all soft and moldy?
