Hi,

I'm about the mount a hybrid turbo on my R33 GTST.

The turbo has journal bearings and I was told to use an unrestricted oil line.

The R33 oil-line has a ristrictor in it, so I got myself a new braided oil feed line.

However I noticed that the two oil feed banjo bolts are also restricted (somewhat larger holes compared to the oil feed line itself)

So do I have to replace the restricted banjos as well?

If the I.D. of the Banjo holes is larger than the I.D of the oil line you are fine.

You can always drill them out larger to suit, rather than buying new ones.

The oil feed is 5mm, the banjo bolts about 1.2mm.

I have new banjo bolts (they came with the oil feed)

I'm just wondering if the open feed would be too large and

possibly lower oil pressure in the oil feed coming from the engine block.

(I have no idea if that internal oil feed goes further 'up') or how much

I was now told to drill the banjos out to 3mm!
